Palma de Mallorca

First day

Let’s start at the beginning, the time to go to the airport. On June 26, 2019, my two friends Cristina, Marta and I started our journey full of enthusiasm and desire, since it was the first time we did a trip alone by plane. We took the flights with two different companies, one is Air Europa and the other Vueling. Marta picked us up at Cristina’s house to go to the airport. When we arrived we were feeling nervous, thinking that we were traveling to an island; for us, a paradise. We arrived in Mallorca around 11:00 am and we had to find a transport to the hotel that was about 20-30 minutes. When we arrived at the hotel, the first impression was quite good; the girls who were at the counter were very nice. We dropped our bags in the room and headed to find a place to have lunch next to the beach and then went to enjoy the beaches, which by the way were called “Reina Del Mar hotel” in “El Arenal”.Being at the beach our mission was to make friends to show us a little bit of the island, where to go out and advise us what places to visit. And so it was that my two friends met two guys who offered to take us to a party at night where they were going out, Magaluf. We had not heard of that place but we still started our adventure. After having dinner at the free buffet, we went to our room to get ready and wait for the boys to come to pick up us by car. When we were ready, we met the boys and they took us where they left, it was an unforgettable experience.

Second day

We got up and went to have breakfast while we organized the day that awaited us. We decided that it was time to visit one of the wonderful coves that the island has and we started searching online which one we liked the most to go. We chose “Cala Blava” and talked to the receptionists to see how we could get there. After a while talking with them and they indicated the bus we had to take, we decided to go to lunch: we chose a kind of bar that was located on the beachfront promenade. When we finished we went to take the bus where the girls from the hotel had indicated, but after waiting for an hour and a half, we decided to take a taxi because it did not arrive. The taxi driver was from our city, Malaga, very confident with the man and we had a laugh along the way. When we arrived we could not believe what we saw, everything that was beautiful, there is no other word, so we enjoyed a good day at the beach. It was time to return to the hotel for dinner and we called the taxi driver to take us. After dinner and getting ready, we went looking for a place where we had a drink and ended up in a nightclub that was where the hotel was located. We met the waiter who was very nice and then we went to sleep to be active the next day!

Third day

We started the day as we always did; going down to the buffet for breakfast and organizing the day that awaited us. We decided to go downtown to visit it and do some tourism. When we arrived we had a coffee and continued with our visit, after a while walking we ended up in a street where there were shops and we decided to enter to see if we could find something to wear that night. After a few laughs and looking at several stores, we left one when we met a demonstration of the LGBT collective, it was an experience that cannot be defined with words. We took a few pictures in the center and when it came time to return we headed to the bus, we almost lost it, almost. We arrived at our stop and did not have time to go to the hotel for dinner so we decided to buy some slices of pizza and eat it while we watched the sunset on the beach, it was beautiful and without a doubt the best part of this trip. When we arrived at the hotel we were called by the friends we had met days ago and proposed to go out with them, so it was time to get ready to see what the night had awaiting for us. They took us to a disco where we met two other very nice girls. You can already imagine what followed.

Fourth day

This day starts a little differently, since we fell asleep and could not go to breakfast at the buffet, we started to organize our day because it was the last and we could not waste a minute of it. Days ago we had seen a boat that toured the island, seeing the different coves that were there, so we decided to ask what time it was leaving and the route we were going to do. We were told that the ship left at 6:30 pm, then we went to the beach to wait. When the time came we went to the boat to begin the last adventure of our trip. We met the monitors who by the way were from Andalucia and we began to laugh a lot with them since they gave us a lot of conversation; they asked us what we wanted to study, how long we had been friends, among many other things. We arrived at a part where there was a hotel inside the rocks and they let us dive with equipment that was provided on the boat. We took photos and videos to have a nice memory of that day. After about two hours the boat took us back to the beach and we went to the hotel to take a shower and get ready, that’s when we were lying in bed and Cristina told me to get a tattoo together to remember the trip. We had some problems with the place where we were tattooed but it is better not to tell it, so the story stays between Cristina and me. We finished getting tattoos and went to the hotel to meet Marta and talk about what we were going to do the last night; In the end we decided to buy some beers and go down to the beach to be calmed watching the sea and reflecting on the trip itself. Then we went to the hotel and we went to bed early to catch the plane the next day.

Fifth day

We started the day having breakfast at the hotel and talking about what we were going to do until we got back to the plane, when we finished we went to our room to pack and go to the supermarket to buy what we were going to have for lunch, since we would do it at the airport. We arrived at the airport, passed the security checks and sat on a bench and began to have lunch with the things we had previously bought. Our plane left at 3:30 pm, but it was delayed and we had to wait another half hour. Then we got on the plane and started our journey back home. I landed the plane and Cristina’s father was waiting for us to bring us back to our homes. I was eager to arrive and tell my experience to my parents.
